Maximize Incentives – Avoid Penalties

The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) created the Quality Payment Program (QPP) to advance the transition of the healthcare industry from the fee-for-service model to value-based care. Programs originally launched to further this objective have been consolidated under QPP. We are seeing those providers who care most about performance turning to a Qualified Registry or Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) for more advanced analytics and flexibility.

The advanced ADVOCATE MIPS Registry Solution eases the MIPS process and enables you to maximize the benefits of QPP. As CMS continues its conversion to value-based care, radiologists need a solution to streamline their workflow, avoid penalties, and maximize bonuses as well as assistance navigating the many facets and changes each year. Whether your goal is to simply avoid reimbursement penalties, or you want to claim every performance incentive and bonus available, an advanced, radiology specialized, capability rich solution is best.  For Performance Year 2019/Payment Year 2021 penalties can reach 7% of total practice Medicare revenues and in 2022 will reach 9%.

ADVOCATE’s MIPS Registry Solution is the most comprehensive radiology registry on the market today. Our secure, web-based, CMS-approved solution facilitates integrated reporting of all MIPS metrics for all practice sizes; all Promoting Interoperability measures, complete reporting for Improvement Activities, and all CMS-approved quality measures.

Our feedback reporting allows you to analyze your data to identify, with far more accuracy, where you stand on each measure throughout the year and it all can be monitored in real-time via the ADVOCATE MIPS Dashboard which delivers current performance metrics and scoring feedback.

In addition to our years of proven expertise and exceptional customer service regarding CMS quality reporting, ADVOCATE continues to improve our offerings. This year look for the ability to manually upload your data files, manage your specialty measure set, and track your measure performance on demand.

We see many providers choosing to switch over to registry reporting from claims-based reporting as performance becomes more closely tied with reimbursement.  Now with the 2019 MPFS Final Rule in place, this is a requirement for groups of more than 15 providers.  The good news is that if you currently do claims-based reporting, you can use the exact same data to submit via the ADVOCATE registry, but you have the advantage of being able to see where you stand on measure performance and scoring throughout the year. This can bring significant peace of mind to those who are responsible for ensuring successful reporting.
